I am blessed having my families. They helped me celebrated ThanksGiving. Although it was sad since my husband was not around, this will be our 2nd year without him. It was also sad because we were not really complete because my mother-in-law went to Long Island and Kuya Bobby did not come because he was working. I was also sad that mom and my son's girlfriend still not talking. I know that she's an old school and that my son's GF should apologize, but it is what it is. I told my mom I want peace and harmony. I just want this to stop. I don't need this. Thank goodness I took zenox if not I would have been a mess.
Anyway, ThanksGiving ended up to be a happy one. I know my husband was proud that we are keeping our tradition. Plus my brother-in-law, Frankie, and my hipag, Vickie, came with the kids, so I was happy.
My daughter cooked turkey. It was delicious and moist. She also cooked stuffing just the way my husband used to cook it and also sweet potato. I cooked penil just the way my husband taught me how. I made my first potato casserole and baked cupcakes. My mom made potato salad and my brother, Archie, cooked beef casserole. Fuko's mom, Andrea, cooked yellow rice. I told her to stay, but she and her boyfriend celebrated Thanksgiving in NJ. I was glad that Fuko, Erica and the kids did not go there.
