Christmas 2011

Another Christmas year.  Once again, thank you for all my families for making this Christmas a happy one.  We celebrated the Christmas of 2011 with love.   I know my husband was watching from heaven above.  My families got together and cooked our traditional food just the way my husband used to prepare it.   Erica cooked lasagna and sweet potato. Fuko fried a Turkey.  I cooked penil and sweet ham.  Andrea cooked her famous spanish rice and pulpo salad.  My mom cooked lumpia and pansit. She also made potato salad and fruit cocktail.  Archie cooked fried porks.   My brother Roger, Jheng, Yayi, Nina and Shawn celebrated Christmas with us.  My brother-in-law, Frankie was here together with hipag Vickie, Frankie Jr, Sunshine and Saphire. I know my husband was happy about it.  My cousin, Ate Eva and Tony celebrated Christmas with us as well.

Christmas Tree

John john told me that that this year we needed to have a christmas tree to make our home feels like holidays, so he went and bought it. My mom and I started decorating the tree.  It came out nice.  I did not really know how I would feel until late at night.  It hit me so hard that I cried all night.  I was a mess that I could not go to work today.  I could not even get up.  I want to feel numb, so I don't have to feel this pain of missing my husband.  I hope it gets better.  I really hope.

Missing my husband

Lately I'm getting more depress.   I'm trying not to, but it is really hard.  All I could think of is my husband.  I so wish that he is with me.  Laughing, joking, talking and even fighting.  I pray everytime to make me stronger. I tried not to show how I truly feel around my family.  I have never watch so much TV.  Now I see myself doing just that...just to look normal.

Fire Island Vacation

My brother, Roger, and my sister-in-law, Jheng and their children visited us from Ohio. My brother who loves to travel decided to go to Fire Island.  The weather was nice and the boat ride was smooth.  The good part was that no one got sea sick.  Even baby Noah came with us with his spicky hair.
