Today we visited my husband

Today I could not get up.  I felt so sad that I need to visit my husband, so John-john and I went and visited him.  I prayed and talked to my husband again.  After the cementery, we went out to eat.  I spoke to my son and gave him encouragement.  I told him that life is not easy.  I told him that this is when he needs to be stronger and always strive to do his best.   Whenever he feels everything is going wrong, just stay focus and be positive. 


Then I told him that he needs to finish the shop since winter is around the corner.  We need it for heating oil/gas for the buildings.  Without the shop income, I just don't know what will I do.  I know that with all these stuggles, somehow I know it will turn around and be ok.  I will leave it to God.  I also know that my husband is our angel now and make everything okay.

Stay Positive

My son called me at my job frustrated and sad.  He was frustrated because he still did not get a job as promised by Fuko's friend.  He was sad because he said his always broke.  I told him that he needs to focus and remain patient.  The weird part was that the night before that I dreamed about papo and he told me that Fuko will help John-john get that job. 

I told John-john that he needs to remain positive.  When we hang up, I actually broke down and cried.  This is the part when I so wish my husband is around.  I'm not strong as he is.  Then I was talking to my husband and opened the fortune cookie.  The message was "look at heaven and have time for yourself"  at the same time I looked at the time and it was 3:21.  That was the sign that my husband was telling me that he is still around and that his promise was he will not leave me and our family alone.  That he will still guide me and help me go through this.  That I will be okay and that our family will be okay.

Cupcakes

Today is not really a good day.  I'm feeling sad and missing my hubby.  I have so much problem and it is overwhelming.   I am lost and I don't know what to do.   If my husband is here, I'm sure he will always find a way to solve it. 

Whenever I'm feeling down, I could not get up.  Lately, I notice that I'm finding myself baking cupcakes.  I guess this is my way of trying to forget the pain of missing my husband and trying to forget my problem.  

 

Mercedez Benz looks brand new!

My husband's car looks brand new again.   My son-in-law, Jose AKA Fuko, painted it.  I know that my husband is happy about it since he loves his Mercedez Benz.  He told me so many times that his car will be a classic.  I used to joke with him about it since he told me the same thing about his "Riviera" car.  He used to call his Benz his "baby" and I still remember when the first time he bought it.  He was so static and felt so proud.  He said that the car made him feel important and that the car was his rewards for all the hard work he did.  I agree with him since he truly deserved it!

Anyway, I'm just so thankful for what Fuko did.  My husband's baby car is brand new again.  Who knows it will be a classic car like what my husband told me. 

Sewing 101

I bought a jacket for Kayla at TJMaxx for only $24.00.  TJMaxx is my favorite store because of the great prices!  Anyway, the jacket fits her perfect except for the sleeves.  I don't know how to sew, but I'm thankful for my mom.  She is so talented.  You know how much it cost just to sew hems on the machine? Here in New York, I'm sure it will cost me more than the jacket price I paid for.  As I said, I'm so thankful for mom for everything!!!

Wilton Course Decorating Basics

I just finished attending my first Wilton Course Decorating Basics at Michael's.   My teacher, Angela, made it fun since she made jokes.   I actually like the course since now I can officially learn how to decorate my own cakes and cupcakes.   Well, I love cupcakes, so I will be focusing decorating cupcakes and not cakes.   Anyway, I was devating whether to buy Wilton Decorating  Basics Student Kit or Wilton Ultimate Cake Decorating Set.   Ultimately, I bought the Wilton Ultimate kit since I am planning to take on the 3 courses Michael's is offering. 


I baked my first velvet cake and decorate it.   As you can see, it was not perfect, but it was not bad for the first timer. 

Michael's Baking Classes

I'm trying to keep myself positive and at the same time creative, so I have decided to sign up for baking.  I love making cupcakes, so I searched for baking classes in New York.  I don't really want to spend so much money learning for baking.   I finally found Michael's located at Columbus Avenue.  It is a little bit far from my work and home, but the classes is every Thurday.   I need to push myself to do something for my life.  I know my husband would want me to do that.
